(c) That I am assured that the gentleman in charge of the Control will deal with the matter

with his usual expedition.

Now, all this being so, go along and do what is required with your brother-in-law. Immediately you telegraph me that your application has been forwarded to the Colonial Office here (Reference Mr. Rogers of the Eastern Department), I shall again get into touch with Mr. Rogers and I earnestly hope we can get Dr. Reiss off to the East during the current

month.

Forgive the delay, but these things are, as you will appreciate, difficult.
